When people first move to the West Palm Beach area, they have a tough time wrapping their minds around all the palm trees. People really seem to miss their fir trees and pine trees, especially during the holiday months. But West Palm Beach has festivities for the holidays that you’re sure to enjoy. After all, the holidays are really about generosity, family, and holiday lights!
Sandi the Sand Tree
Sandi is a stupendous 600-ton sand tree, a sight you don’t want to miss this December! Sandi will be 35 feet tall and will dazzle the crowds with nightly music and light shows beginning November 29th at the Clematis by Night Tree Lighting. You have the month of December to see Sandi. There will be lots of free events for the whole family, too.
Garden of Lights: A Winter Holiday Event
Mounts Botanical Garden will be lit up in the evenings this holiday season. Thousands of holiday lights will hang from trees, with lots of LED trees, glowing light balls and walking routes through 15 garden areas. There will be live dance performances and musical presentations as well. November 24 – December 30. Open Daily 5:30 – 8:30 PM. $10/person, $5/children ages 5 – 12. Tickets available at the Garden’s main gate.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer–the Musical!
You heard that right. There’s a musical about Rudolph. It’s December 23rd at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Dreyfoos Hall, 701 Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach More info and Tickets Here!
Miracle, Christmas-themed Pop-up Bars
There will be TWO miracle pop-up bars in two locations in Palm Beach County. The first will be at City Place in West Palm Beach and the other will be in Delray at Death or Glory. Miracle on Rosemary, 550 South Rosemary Avenue, Suite 158, will be open noon – 1:00 AM and Miracle at Death or Glory will be open daily from 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM.
