It all started with a dream over 39 years ago: to build a world-class auto repair shop brand that will always put its customer’s needs before anything else. This commitment carries on way beyond the cars we service every day. Our shop brand is built on the core values of trust, fairness, and transparency.

Foreign Affairs Auto was founded in 1982 by husband and wife, Frank and Gloria Ortiz. Our humble beginnings started in single-bay
repair shop deep inside an industrial warehouse district. Frank performed the repairs while Gloria attended to our customers. Over the last three decades, Foreign Affairs Auto has genuinely become one of South Florida’s most respected auto repair shops. We have continued to invest and expand our operations in order to service most European automobile makes such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Porsche.

Today, our continued focus remains you – our customer. The day-to-day operations are run by Frank & Gloria’s son, Jonathan Ortiz. He is joined by a talented team of managers, technicians, and service staff.

We recently unveiled our new company logo to further emphasize our commitment to You & Your European Car. We sought to find a unique symbol that strongly represented what we stand for as an auto repair company.

The American Bison inspires a message of trustworthiness and symbolized stability, strength, consistency, and confidence.

The Beginning

The cornerstone of Foreign Affairs has been fundamentally laid down by founders, Frank and Gloria Ortiz. A Hand-painted sign marks the beginning of our dedication to you.

The tiny office on the left was our first location in Lake Worth, Florida.

In 1985, Foreign Affairs Auto moved its service facility to an industrial district near Downtown.

In 1989, we realized the need to relocate to a larger facility. Shortly after, Foreign Affairs Auto found its new home in the heart of West Palm Beach Florida.

16th Anniversary

Celebrating its 16th anniversary, Foreign Affairs Auto purchased a beautiful piece of real estate on Military Trail in West Palm Beach to further accommodate its customers and offer its

2004 Renovations

Foreign Affairs Auto completely revamped the indoor showroom and customer waiting rooms to better service their clients, accommodate its customers and offer its highline sales and service.

Pre-Owned Sales Department

In early 2008, Foreign Affairs officially launched its Pre-Owned Sales Department inspired by the vision of being able to provide for our clients throughout all stages of the automobile ownership experience.
